While he grew up in France, Renaud spent most of his professional career in the US.
After graduating from Cornell University, he worked as an environmental consultant cleaning up polluted sites. In 2000, he switched careers and joined a photo-sharing startup as software engineer, combining his passion for the internet and photography.
In 2006, Renaud jumped into entrepreneurship and co-founded Eventbrite as CTO. Eventbrite is today the global leader in event technology, and went public on the NYSE in 2018 at a $2B valuation after having raised $335M in venture capital from the likes of Sequoia Capital, and Tiger Global.
While at Eventbrite, Renaud started angel investing and moonlighting as venture partner for VC firms like Index Ventures and Point Nine Capital. In total, he has made investments in 75+ startups across a variety of verticals, leveraging his operational experience to help founders solving complex technical problems realise their global ambitions.
Renaud left Eventbrite at the end of 2021 to focus on investing in climate tech startups, and taking on non-executive board roles at scale-ups like Meister Labs and ABTasty, as well as non-profits like Creative Destruction Labs and ShareIt.

Chloé started her career in tech in 2010, and has experienced a variety of roles across different ecosystems: from startups, large corporations, incubators, investment banks and venture capital firms.
After assisting a Boston-based software company in its sales efforts in the US, she worked at the actuarial department of the global insurer AXA in London, and later moved to Shanghai, where she worked for a tech incubator alongside her studies.
Back in Paris, she worked in investment banking before joining Idinvest Partners Venture Capital team in 2014 (now Eurazeo). Having participated in 20+ investments across France, UK, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Finland and Lithuania, most of which she led, she contributed actively to the acceleration of the European tech ecosystem. Some of her seed & series A investments include companies like Wefox, Agriconomie, +Simple, Botify, Papernest and Yulife. She has also made several investments as a business angel, including Kita Earth in carbon insurance.
She decided to focus on the intersection between tech and climate, as she started to witness the influx of the most talented entrepreneurs into this space, and the new direction taken by her most successful portfolio companies (Agriconomie in regenerative agriculture, Papernest in green energy, or Hiflow in vehicle transportation optimization).
